What this puzzle is
Minecraftle is the daily crafting puzzle made by Tamura Boog, Zach Manson, Harrison Oates, and Ivan Sossa Gongora in 2022. You place items from a fixed inventory of 18 ingredients onto a 3×3 grid and try to match a hidden recipe in ten guesses. Orange means an ingredient belongs elsewhere; green means an ingredient is correctly placed. Gray can mean an absent ingredient or an extra copy after the required count is used. The live pool rechecked on 24 October 2026 holds 132 recipes.
People also search “minecraftle game”, “minecraftle wordle”, and “play minecraftle”. Misspellings get corrected by search engines; this page is the hub for the 3×3 recipe game, not for minecraftle.com (a speed-crafting game) and not for MCdle.

Play it in three steps
Pick ingredients from the same 18-item inventory every day. Place them on the grid; empty slots are allowed. Read the colors before changing your next guess. Recipes may be shifted or mirrored left-right, but there is no separate vertical-flip operation. Five recipes are marked shapeless in the data; all five use a single occupied cell. In high contrast, correct ingredients turn orange and misplaced ingredients turn blue.
Today, without the full spoiler
The answer page names the item and draws the grid for your local date. Hints stay on their own URL and open one layer at a time; check their displayed date before using them. No answer or historical solution is shown on this hub. The official puzzle uses your browser’s local calendar date, not a UTC rollover. Archive pages start at 2026-06-22; they are reconstructions from a checked recipe snapshot, not a history published by the game authors.
How the answers are reconstructed
The official source seeds seedrandom with Date.toDateString() and indexes the ordered recipe keys. This guide follows that calculation. Rechecking the data on 24 October 2026 found the same 132-recipe snapshot used in the 23 October research. This is a source-and-data check, not a claim that every date has been replayed in the game.
Modes and guides
Freshness
The recipe pool and public source were rechecked by HTTP on 24 October 2026. Earlier client observations remain dated 23 October in the research notes. The answer page recomputes an item on page load from the stored pool; it does not fetch a fresh pool from the game. Archive HTML changes only when rebuilt. See the editorial policy for limitations.
FAQ
Is Minecraftle a mob-guessing game?
No. The official game asks you to craft a secret item from 18 ingredients on a 3×3 grid. Mob, block, and item quizzes are other games, covered on the MCdle comparison page.
Do I need to download Minecraftle?
No. Play in your browser at minecraftle.zachmanson.com without installing Minecraft or creating an account. The official navigation does not link to Steam or an app store.
Is there a hard mode?
The official client has Daily, Random, Stats, and High Contrast. It does not have a hard mode. A hard mode on minecraftle.net belongs to that clone, not to the official puzzle.
Can I play it unblocked at school?
Whether a network allows the official host is up to that network. This site does not host a copy of the game.
How is this different from MCdle?
MCdle has modes for mobs, blocks, items, and Crafting Bee. Minecraftle is only the 10-guess crafting grid. See the comparison page before you mix the two names up.
When does the daily puzzle change?
The official client seeds the puzzle with your device's local date string, not midnight UTC. Two time zones can be on different calendar days at the same moment.
