Unofficial guide to the daily 3×3 crafting-recipe puzzle.

Editorial policy

This unofficial guide covers Minecraftle, the daily 3×3 crafting-recipe puzzle. Answers are calculated from seedrandom of the device’s Date.toDateString(), indexing the ordered keys in a stored copy of recipes.json. HTTP checks on 24 October 2026 confirmed 132 recipes: 127 shaped and 5 marked shapeless.

Reconstruction is not an independently observed historical result. The archive starts at 2026-06-22, after the recipe-pool update recorded in the repository on 21 June 2026. A later pool edit or a client’s cached data can change the result. Editorial categories and opening suggestions are labeled as analysis, not official fields or recommendations. Unreproduced simulation figures and unsupported first-person sessions are not evidence.

Evidence dates and update limits

The research notes contain client observations dated 23 October 2026. The 24 October audit used HTTP requests, source inspection, local recomputation and browser-state spot-checks in two time zones. Reading client state is not a claim of manually solving every puzzle. Those dates must not be changed merely because the site’s update date advances. A normal build uses checked-in data; the separate data script can fall back to a cached file if its fetch fails, so a successful build alone does not prove freshness.

Corrections can be sent through the listed contact channel. No delivery test, guaranteed response time, daily human review, or automatic correction service is claimed.

FAQ

What if the recipe file changes?

The stored pool can become stale. A maintainer must run the separate puzzle-data update, verify the fetched snapshot and date metadata, and rebuild. An ordinary Astro build does not refetch the recipes.
