Verification method
The browser audit checked the official client in two time zones at the same instant: local 23 October 2026 produced Painting, while local 24 October produced Cobblestone Stairs. The date-seed reconstruction matched both. Historical research also recorded selected earlier checks; this is not a claim that every date was played. Duplicate ingredients are scored green first, then orange, then gray for extras. That counting rule comes from client behavior and source, not the simplified rules text.

No. The official client seeds the puzzle with the device local date string from Date.toDateString(). A browser still on the previous calendar day has a different solution.
Can I substitute ingredients from ordinary Minecraft?
Use the exact ingredient IDs in the checked Minecraftle recipe pool. Not every vanilla variant or wood type is included. The ingredient counts below come from that pool.
