Oak Button — Minecraftle answer October 17, 2026

Oak Button is the Minecraftle answer for October 17, 2026. Shapeless recipe: 1 Oak Planks. I rebuilt it from the official date seed. Pool checked 2026-10-24. Category label used here: Redstone. The recipe file has no category field.

The live file marks this recipe shapeless: ingredient counts matter more than a fixed picture.

Reading this recipe

For Oak Button, account for 1 occupied cells and 8 empty cells. The ingredient totals are 1 × Oak Planks. These totals come from the stored input, not the number of output items.

1. Row 1, left to right: Oak Planks · empty · empty.
2. Row 2, left to right: empty · empty · empty.
3. Row 3, left to right: empty · empty · empty.

Use those counts before interpreting a gray copy of an ingredient: extra copies can be gray even when another copy is green or orange. This snapshot stores a one-ingredient shapeless recipe; that one ingredient may occupy any cell.

The previous stored date, Oct 16, 2026, reconstructs to Redstone Torch with 2 filled cells. That is a separate date seed, not evidence for the current grid.

Snapshot rechecked: 2026-10-24. Historical answer reconstructed from the local calendar date; not an official archive or a claim of a played session.

Reconstruction method

The generator runs the same seed the official client uses, seedrandom of the local date string for October 17, 2026, and indexes the documented recipe snapshot. The result is Oak Button, key oak_button, marked shapeless. A horizontal mirror or a shift inside the 3×3 can still be accepted even when this page draws one placement. Days before 2026-06-22 stay unpublished because the pool changed the day before that.
